四川6.8级地震造成至少65人死亡

Authorities in Chengdu have maintained strict lockdown measures on the city despite a 6.8 magnitude earthquake that killed at least 65 people in outlying areas. Footage circulating online showed workers wearing top-to-bottom protective gear preventing residents of apartment buildings from exiting through locked lobby doors. The quake struck a mountainous area in Luding county, which sits roughly 200 kilometers from Chengdu.
